Students took part in an exciting artistic revolution on Friday the 24th of April 2015. The Recreate Revolution was co-hosted by TY students , art teacher Ms. Lynch and Recreate from Ballymount. This so called “revolution” encourages students to reuse recycled materials in a creative way.
The TY invited 4th and 5th class students from local Educate Together Primary Schools to a workshop to become part of the process. Students designed and built a futuristic city using recycled materials.
Students presented their designs to their fellow students, teachers and parents at the end of the workshop and in turn were presented with a certificate from Ms McGrath and a toolkit to take back to their schools and to continue the Recreate revolution.
