Never too Early to Start Exploring Careers

Winners of the Careers Projects Thursday morning the 29th of January, the Second Years exhibited their career research projects. These projects were the result of many weeks hard work in Personal Development Education classes. With the help of their teachers, the students had to pick a career of their choice and research the college course, and requirements needed. 98 projects were exhibited in the hall and the parents had an opportunity to view their work. Following the exhibition there was a short prize giving. Class Walker won the best class and Eoin got overall winner of the best project. Thanks to all the PDE [...]

Walk In My Shoes 2014

  The staff of Fingal Community College supported the Walk in My Shoes campaign in conjunction with St. Patrick’s Hospital  on Friday 9th May.Staff stepped out of their comfort zone in shoes they normally wouldn’t wear for the day to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and wellbeing, particularly among young people.
