Students took part in an exciting artistic revolution on Friday the 24th of April 2015. The Recreate Revolution was co-hosted by TY students , art teacher Ms. Lynch and Recreate from Ballymount. This so called "revolution" encourages students to reuse recycled materials in a creative way. The TY invited 4th and 5th class students from local Educate Together Primary Schools to a workshop to become part of the process. TY Students and Teachers who took part in Darkness into Light It has been an action packed year for students with various activities to promote general fitness, positive mental health and healthy eating. FCC has turned green this month in more ways than one. Not only are we celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge and the amazing work of the Green Schools Committee, but we are also the first secondary school in Swords to put a float in to the St Patrick’s Day Parade . Winners of the Careers Projects Thursday morning the 29th of January, the Second Years exhibited their career research projects. These projects were the result of many weeks hard work in Personal Development Education classes. With the help of their teachers, the students had to pick a career of their choice and research the college course, and requirements needed. 98 projects were exhibited in the hall and the parents had an opportunity to view their work.
